XPT Life (Extreme Performance Training), founded by world-renowned big-wave surfer Laird Hamilton and legendary athlete Gabrielle Reece, hosted an ultra-exclusive, four-day private retreat on the island of Kaua‘i, uniting elite professional athletes and top-tier performers in health, fitness, and recovery.
The event featured transformational coaching and wellness modalities led by Wim Hof (The Iceman) and Brian Mackenzie (performance breathing & human performance expert), delivering a holistic experience in breathwork, cold immersion, recovery science, movement, and mindset.
iEcho Arts was selected to produce comprehensive photo and video content across all four days, designed for both internal use, post-production deliverables, and long-term brand positioning for XPTLife.com.

Operating in multiple remote outdoor locations, iEcho Arts designed a nimble, mobile production setup to capture cinematic visuals, authentic athlete testimonials, and raw behind-the-scenes moments that defined the XPT experience.
Scope of Work Included:
Full event documentation over 4 days (breathwork, cold plunge, sauna, ocean training, sand dune workouts, pool training, recovery sessions)
Multi-camera interviews with Laird, Gabby, Wim Hof, Brian Mackenzie, and participating athletes
Lifestyle photography for social media, website, and press assets
Drone cinematography to capture the dramatic coastal landscapes and dynamic movement sessions
Stealth crew operation to maintain participant intimacy and privacy while delivering elite media quality
Cultural sensitivity and on-island compliance, ensuring respect for native land, traditions, and local partnerships
